I am a retired police inspector who has lived most of my life in the Midlands, which is an area I know very well. Being Warwick`s Town Crier, I do not usually have a problem in making myself heard!
As well as being a tourist guide, I am much in demand as a speaker on numerous topics. Should you want an entertaining talk at your hotel, try giving me a call. I am also a prolific writer of fiction and non-fiction publications, many of which compliment my talks.
During the run up to Christmas, I can sometimes be found playing Santa Claus.
Being passionately fond of the Heart of England Region, I enjoy sharing my knowledge of this area, and its many colourful, and often infamous characters. I am quite at home in guiding coach tours or walks.
I specialise in tours with connections to battlefields, crime & murder mysteries, folklore & traditions, medieval history, military history, and Shakespeare. All tours can be tailored to your specific requirements.
Member of the Institute of Tourist Guiding
After a career in teaching, a love of my native country prompted me to become a tourist guide. Even after twenty years, I hope I have not lost my pride and enthusiasm, in showing you around the best parts of what the Heart of England has to offer.
From U3A to Primary School children, I can pitch my tours to interest people from a wide background. I also enjoy preparing and learning new routes, which are specially tailored for your groups.
Having a French mother, I can guide confidently in French.
I specialise in tours of historical England, with Warwickshire and Oxfordshire being my favourite haunts.
